杭州植物园中有一处40-60年的老房子，一直作为民房来使用。由于建筑质量差，年久失修，又位于植物园中，所以面临被拆除的局面。后植物园经过努力，将这组建筑列入了杭州市历史建筑名录，使得建筑得以保留。多义景观按杭州市历史建筑的保护要求，在不改变建筑立面的基础上，对建筑进行了加固和整修设计，并将功能改变为接待实习学生居住的旅馆。

There is an old private housing inside Hangzhou Botanical Garden, which has been constructed 40-60 years ago. Due to poor quality of construction, the dilapidated building, which is located in the botanical garden, is faced with the situation of demolition. After the efforts the Botanical Garden has made, this group of buildings has been registered in the Hangzhou historic building list, so that the buildings can be preserved. In accordance with the protection requirements of the historical buildings in Hangzhou, and on the basis of not changing the facade, the architecture has been reinforced and renovated by Atelier DYJG, and the function of it has been transform to a hotel for the intern students.

每年有许多全国各地的园林专业的大学生去杭州实习，北京林业大学每年有2批学生去杭州，每批学生约160人，由5名老师带队，居住一周左右。

Every year, many college students majoring in landscape architecture from all over the country travel to Hangzhou for an internship, and two groups of students from Beijing Forestry University visit the city each year. There are about 160 students in each group,who led by five teachers and lives for about a week.

改造后的这组教学院有25间宿舍，共计168个床位；有一栋教师住宅，含5间卧室；有一间容100人的大教室；有会议室、卫生间、淋浴室、洗衣间、小卖、管理和室外庭院。

The reformed teaching court has 25 dormitories with 168 beds, and there is a teacher' s residence with five bedrooms, a large classroom with a capacity of 100 students. Meeting rooms, toilet, shower, laundry room, retail department, management and outdoor patio are included in the teaching court as well.
