Cultural Nature
-2021.01.29-地球的表面有两种类型的自然系统。一种是原始的自然,另一种是人类影响的自然，即人类为了生产、生活、精神、宗教和审美等需要不断改造的自然。这类自然具有人类活动的信息，具有文化的属性，这类自然就是“文化的自然”。
生产的自然、美学的自然和修复的自然都是在人类干预中或干预后形成的自然，都是文化的自然。这种自然是人类影响的产物，它反映着一个区域内过去和现在人类的活动过程，饱含着历史和社会发展的直观而真实的信息。我们只有认识到这类自然的文化价值，了解并尊重它们固有的特征，才能更全面地认识和研究整个地表的自然系统，维护和管理好多样性的地表景观，才能在规划和设计中创造出人工与自然协调、具有厚重的历史积淀并充满文化气息的环境。
本书取名为“文化的自然”，收录了多义景观不同的文化的自然的项目，以及美国著名景观设计师Martha Schwartz、荷兰West 8创始人Adriaan Geuze以及评论家和策展人唐克扬对多义景观的评论文章。书中还附有一篇长文，阐述我们对文化的自然的理解和态度。
There are two types of natural systems on the earth's surface. One is the primitive nature, and the other is the nature influenced by human beings, that is, the nature that human beings constantly transformed for production, living, spirit, religion and aesthetics. This kind of nature is "cultural nature", which contains the information of human activities and has the attribute of culture.
Productive nature, aesthetic nature and restored nature are all formed in or after human intervention, and they are all cultural nature. This kind of nature is the product of human influence, which reflects the process of human activity in a region from past to present, and is full of intuitive and true information of history and social development. Only if we realize the cultural value of them, understand and respect for their inherent characteristics, we will more deeply understand and research the nature system on the earth’s surface, better maintain and manage the diverse landscape, create in the planning and design the environment of artificial and natural coordination, with full historical and cultural atmosphere.
Entitled "Cultural Nature", this album includes different projects of Atelier DYJG, as well as essays by Martha Schwartz, renowned American landscape architect, Adriaann Geuze, founder of landscape and urban design office West 8, and Keyan Tang, landscape critic and curator. A long essay on our understanding and attitude towards the cultural nature is also included.

-2012.10.18-《多义景观 Atelier DYJG-Polysemous Landscape》是多义景观的第一本作品集，收录了2000-2012年间多义景观的37个项目，包括城市区域4个，新城中心5个，城市公共空间4个，公园4个，湿地4个，大学与企业园区7个，展览花园6个，住区2个，水岸1个。在每种类型的项目前有一篇有关该类项目研究的短文，每个项目都有图纸、照片和文字介绍。书中还包括一篇对王向荣和林箐的采访文章。全书采用中文和英语两种文字，共260页。责任编辑是杜洁。
This portfolio of Atelier DYJG in Chinese and English selected 37 most representative projects of Atelier DYJG since its founding in 2000, documenting the Atelier’s practice and research on various landscape issues. It contains 4 projects of urban Landscape, 5 projects of new town center, 4 projects of urban open space, 4 projects of park, 4 projects of wetland, 1 waterfront, 7 projects of campus and business park, 6 projects of gardens and 2 projects of residential. -

-2012.04.01-2011年西安世界园艺博览会设置了9个面积各为1000m2的大师园。分别由美国MSI的Martha Schwartz、荷兰West 8的Adriaan Geuze、丹麦SLA的Stig L Andersson、德国Topotek 1的Marten Cano、英国Gross Max的Eelco Hooftman、法国Mosbach Paysagistes的Catherine Mosbach、西班牙EMBT的Benedetta Tagliabue、澳大利亚Terragram的Vladimir Sitta和北京多义景观的王向荣设计。多义景观同时还协调整个大师园区的设计事宜，包括设计师的确定、邀请、设计的衔接、施工图设计、施工现场服务等。
大师园是西安世界园艺博览会上最受人关注的展览区域，在行业内产生了非常大的影响。本书对每个大师园都有详细的介绍。全书共222页，200余幅照片和图纸。
2011 Xi'an International Horticulture Exhibition set up a special garden zone. It allotted 9 plots with an area of 1000m2 for each plot. The top designers of the world were invited to devise 9 gardens. They were: Benedetta Tagliabue from EMBT of Spain, Eelco Hooftman from Gross Max of UK, Vladimir Sitta from Terragram of Australia, Marten Cano from Topotek 1 of Germany, Catherine Mosbach from Mosbach Paysagistes of France, Martha Schwartz from MSP of USA, Adriaan Geuze from West 8 of Netherlands, Stig L Andersson from SLA of Denmark, and Wang Xiangrong from Atelier DYJG of China. Atelier DYJG coordinated the design issues of the whole Master Garden Zone, including determination and invitation of the designers, the interface of design, construction drawing design, construction site services and so on.
The master garden zone has drawn wide attention and has influenced the profession greatly. This book introduced Master Garden via more than 222 pages, including over 200 pieces of colored photo and design drawing. -

-2011.04.08-英国著名园林史学家Tom Turner著有一系列园林历史书籍，其中《世界园林史》（Garden History）是最为重要的一本。该书用350余页篇幅，400多幅彩色照片，150余幅彩色平面图和30张园林结构示意图表现和解释了从公元前2000年多公元后2000年间的园林发展。在译者看来，Tom Turner这本园林历史著作是目前世界园林史书籍中最可读的一本。该书于2011年由中国林业出版社出版，林箐等翻译，王向荣审校，《世界园林史》。
Famous British garden historian, Tom Turner, wrote a series of books on the theme of garden history, among which the book of Garden History is the most important one. The book demonstrates and explains garden development in the world from 2000 B.C to 2000 A.D. via more than 350 pages, including over 400 pieces of colored photo, about 150 colored plans and 30 garden structure sketch maps. The book is Translated into Chinese by a team of Atelier DYJG led by Prof. Lin Qing.
